**WE NOW HAVE A FULL ROTA OF GIRLGUIDING AND SCOUTING VOLUNTEERS – please check back later in the year to find out if we have any vacancies**

Whether you’ve been a member of Girlguiding or Scouts before or not, you can be a regular volunteer.

Volunteering is an excellent way of giving to a charity like us because it goes so much further. All our leaders agree that being part of Guiding and Scouts is a very important part of their lives because it’s so much fun and they learn a lot – no matter how long they’ve been a volunteer.

We do have vacancies on our volunteer team for NHS Trust staff – so please get in touch with us if you work for Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust and would like to volunteer.

Because we’re open all year round, we work on a rota basis. That means you don’t have to come every week, but we do ask volunteers to commit on a regular basis to make sure we have enough adults to supervise meetings.

Interested? Here are the main things you need to know…

  • You must be able to commit to at least one meeting per month
  • You must complete a satisfactory DBS check before you join our unit (we can arrange/pay for this, but your DBS must have come through before you can volunteer)
  • You must be prepared for SERIOUS FUN and lots of laughter!

If you’d like to volunteer, email us by clicking here and we’ll get in touch.

PLEASE NOTE: Our unit meetings are on Monday evenings starting at 6.30pm
